Fee Schedule

Initial Intake Consultation
60 minutes – $150
The initial intake consultation is a parent/caregiver appointment (without the child). This session focuses on gathering developmental and play history, understanding current concerns, and determining whether play therapy is the most appropriate support at that time.

Individual Play Therapy Session
45 minutes – $150
Play therapy sessions are child-focused and delivered in line with evidence-informed, child-centred practice.
An additional 15 minutes outside of session time is allocated for playroom setup, cleaning of materials, and clinical documentation. Session times cannot be extended into this allocated period.

Filial Therapy
45-60 minutes – $150
Filial therapy is a parent-involved approach that supports caregivers to engage with their child through therapeutic play.

Reports, Letters & Professional Liaison
Written reports, letters, or professional liaison (for example with schools or other professionals) are available upon request and are charged separately based on the time required. Fees are discussed and agreed upon prior to commencement.

Mobile Service & Fees
In addition to clinic-based sessions in Alfred Cove, Grow & Thrive Play Therapy also offers mobile services across Perth, including schools and early learning settings. Travel fees apply for mobile services and is calculated based on time and distance.These are discussed and confirmed at the time of booking.

Funding

Medicare
Medicare rebates are not available for play therapy services.

NDIS
NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants will be accepted once provider registration is approved.
NDIS services are charged in line with the NDIS Price Guide.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
